MU Ikut Buru Dzeko

Klub peminat Edin Dzeko kembali bertambah. Setelah AC Milan menyatakan ketertarikannya kepada penyerang Wolfsburg itu. Kini jawara Inggris, Manchester United juga memburu Dzeko.
Minat United terhadap Dzeko diutarakan langsung oleh tangan kanan pelatih Sir Alex Ferguson, Mike Phelan. Ketajaman Dzeko membuat Fergie tertarik untuk memboyongnya. Selain itu karakter pemain Bosnia itu dianggap cocok untuk membela MU dan berlaga di Liga Inggris.
"Ia (Dzeko) tampil sebagai ancaman saat melawan Manchester Unitred di Old Trafford. Tipe permainannya cocok dengan Premiership," kata asisten pelatih MU itu.

Liverpool & Spurs Rise

Roma Baby Belum Mati

Banyak yang menganggap Roma sudah gagal mengoptimalkan akademi sepak bolanya. Tapi, kemenangan 3-0 atas CSKA Sofia di Liga Europa, Rabu (16/12), memperlihatkan Roma Baby belum mati.
Belakangan ini Roma dianggap menyia-nyiakan talenta yang dilahirkan oleh akademi sepak bolanya sendiri. Pemain sebagus Alberto Aquilani dan Gaetano D'Agostino diambil klub lain dan menjadi pemain penting di sana. Selama di Roma mereka kurang dimaksimalkan.
Roma menjawab kritik tersebut dengan memainkan empat pemain produk sekolah sepak bolanya ketika menghadapi CSKA Sofia. Mereka adalah Alessio Cerci (22 tahun), Stefano Okaka Chuka (20 tahun), Stefano Pettinari (17 tahun), dan Filippo Maria Scardina (17 tahun). Dua nama pertama menjadi starter.
Hasilnya hebat. Cerci membuat dua gol dan Scardina menandai debutnya di kompetisi antarklub Eropa juga dengan mengemas satu gol. Pelatih Claudio Ranieri sangat senang melihat prestasi Roma Baby.
